SearchOps Assistant
The SearchOps Assistant sits inside your dashboard and knows two things most help chats don't: how SearchOps works, and what is actually going on in your account. Ask why a scan came back empty, which keywords a location is missing, or what to do next, and it reads your own locations, scans, keywords and reports to answer specifically, links you to the right page, and, when there is a simple fix, prepares it for you to approve in one click. It never spends a credit or changes anything without you saying yes.
Your Leeds location has no keywords tracked, so there was nothing to check. I can add the three your other branches use and set a weekly rank check.

Why it's different
Built for the way local SEO actually works
Answers from your own data
It reads your locations, scans, keywords and reports to answer the question you actually asked, not a generic version of it. 'Why is my Leeds scan empty?' gets the real reason.
Knows the Help Centre by heart
Every answer is grounded in our Help Centre and internal diagnostic playbooks, and links the article it drew on. If it doesn't know, it says so instead of guessing.
Recommends the next step
Alongside the answer it tells you what to do about it and links the exact dashboard page, so you go from question to action without hunting through menus.
Prepares actions you approve
Add keywords, turn tracking on, set up a weekly rank check, or write a task onto your board. It shows you a card with exactly what will happen; nothing runs until you approve.
What it can see
Grounded in your account, not in guesswork
Most support chats can only recite documentation. The SearchOps Assistant can also look at your account, read-only, in the moment you ask: which locations you have, what keywords are tracked, when each scan or rank check last ran and what it found, and which reports exist. It combines that with the Help Centre and a set of diagnostic playbooks our own team uses, so 'why is this number low?' gets a specific answer with the reason attached. It is scoped to your account and yours only, it cannot see another customer's data, and it treats everything you type as a question about SearchOps.
- Reads your own locations, keywords, scans, rank checks and reports, read-only
- Every answer cites the Help Centre article it drew on
- Says 'I don't know' rather than inventing an answer, then offers a human
- Strictly your account: no cross-customer visibility, ever

What it can do
Free actions, always behind a card you approve
When the fix is simple, the assistant does more than describe it. It prepares the action and shows you a confirmation card spelling out exactly what will change, what it costs (the answer is always nothing), and a button to approve. Today it can add keywords to a location, switch rank tracking on or off for keywords you already have, set up a recurring rank-check schedule, and write a recommendation onto your Tasks board so it outlives the conversation. None of these spend credits, and none of them happen until you click. It cannot run scans, publish posts, delete anything or touch billing; for those it points you to the right page.
- Add keywords to a location's library
- Turn rank tracking on or off for existing keywords
- Set up a weekly (or other) rank-check schedule
- Write a task onto your Tasks board, against the right location

The agent across the platform
The same agent works inside every tool
The assistant is the conversational face of the agent that runs through SearchOps. The same agent writes the real customer queries your ChatGPT and Gemini Visibility checks use, drafts review replies in your chosen style, drafts Google Business Profile posts, scores the topics and sentiment behind your reviews, discovers mentions of your business across the web for Citation Management, and turns audit findings into a prioritised to-do list on your Tasks board. All of it is included in your plan; none of it draws on your scan or AI Engine Visibility credits.

How it works
Three steps from signup to insight
Ask, in plain words
Open the assistant from any dashboard page and ask what you'd ask a colleague: 'why did this drop?', 'what should I track for Manchester?', 'how do I connect my profile?'.
It checks, then answers
It reads the relevant part of your account and the Help Centre, gives you a short, specific answer, links the page to act on, and, where it can, prepares the fix as a card.
Approve, or talk to a human
Approve the card and it's done. If the assistant can't resolve it, one click hands the whole conversation to our support team with your context attached, so you never repeat yourself.
Credits
How it's billed
The SearchOps Assistant is included in every paid plan at no extra cost. There is no credit to spend and no meter running: ask as many questions as you need. The actions it can prepare for you, adding keywords, switching tracking, scheduling rank checks and writing tasks, are all free on paid plans, and the card always says so before you approve. It cannot start anything that would cost credits, such as a geo-grid scan or an AI Engine Visibility check, so there is no way to spend money through it by accident.
- Included on Starter, Pro, Agency and Enterprise, unlimited questions
- Every action it prepares is free; the card says so before you approve
- Cannot run scans or visibility checks, so it can never spend your credits
- Hand-off to a human included, with your conversation attached

Where the work lands
One board for everything it recommends
When the assistant recommends a piece of work, it can write it straight onto your Tasks board against the right location, next to the findings every audit and tracker already raises. Reports & Tasks is where that work gets done and shown to clients.
