How the free trial works

What you get during the 14-day trial and what happens when it ends.

Last reviewed June 20262 min read

The free trial lets you use a full plan for 14 days before you are billed, so you can try SearchOps on your real data rather than a stripped-back demo.

What you get

When you start a trial you choose a plan, and you get that plan's features for 14 days. The gates are unlocked, so you can genuinely test the tools you would actually pay for. To keep things fair while the trial is free, you get a capped pot of 1,000 scan credits for the trial period rather than the plan's full monthly allowance.

Note: The trial includes scan credits so you can run real scans. The separate AI credit balance starts once your paid plan begins.

Starting a trial

  1. Choose a plan on the pricing page and continue to checkout.
  2. Enter your card details. You are not charged today.
  3. Your account switches to the chosen plan immediately, with everything unlocked for 14 days.

A trial is available once per customer.

The card requirement

A trial asks for a card up front so it can continue seamlessly into your plan. You are not charged during the 14 days. When the trial ends, your plan begins and the first payment is taken, unless you cancel before then.

When the trial ends

  • To continue: do nothing. Billing starts automatically and you receive your plan's full monthly allowances.
  • To stop: cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. See Manage your subscription.

Tip: Not sure yet? Set a reminder a day before your trial ends. You can cancel any time before then with no charge, and keep access until the trial period is up.
