Build client-ready reports

Turn your scans, rankings, and profile data into a shareable report.

Last reviewed June 20262 min read

A report turns your tracking data into a clean summary you can hand to a client or your team. Instead of screenshots and spreadsheets, you build one tidy view that shows the progress you have made.

Build a report

  1. Go to Reports in the dashboard and select New report.
  2. Give it a name and description.
  3. Add blocks to the report and arrange them by dragging. You can include up to 50.
  4. For each block, set the date range: the last 7, 30, 90, or 365 days.
  5. Save.

The blocks you can add

  • Rank summary: headline ranking numbers at a glance.
  • Keyword table: positions for your tracked keywords.
  • Rank trend chart: how positions have moved over time.
  • Competitor leaderboard: how you stack up against rivals.
  • Text / notes: your own commentary, context, and recommendations.

Tip: Open and close each report with a short text block: a sentence of context at the top and clear next steps at the bottom. It turns raw numbers into a story a client understands.

Sharing and exporting

Open a report to view it, then print or save it as a PDF straight from your browser to send on.

For quick one-off sharing, individual geo-grid scans and profile audits each have their own Share option that creates a link, so you can send a single result without building a full report. See Reading your geo-grid results.

The GBP performance report

If you want a ready-made client deliverable, the Google Business Profile performance report (available on Pro and above) shows the uplift in calls, website clicks, and direction requests for a location. It is built for white-label sharing and prints cleanly.

Keep reports current

Pair reports with tracked keywords and scheduled scans so the underlying data refreshes on its own. Each time you open or print the report, it reflects the latest numbers.
